Hi, I'm Alyssa! I am originally from Western Massachusetts, and I love crafting stories for both stage and screen.
I am an alum of Quinnipiac University's graduate program in Producing for Film & Television, with a concentration in Writing for the Screen & Showrunning. As a filmmaker, I focus on screenwriting and directing, with projects that are stylistic, subversive, and intentional. I developed this style with my undergraduate thesis film "Witchin'," which is currently on the film festival circuit.
I also work extensively in theater as a director, playwright, and designer, and my original short plays have been featured twice in Quinnipiac University's New Play Lab. Through Quinnipiac, I have collaborated with professionals from the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale. Additionally, I was a part of the original workshop for "Professor Woland's Black Magic Rock Show," the subsequent Washington D.C. production of which was Helen Hayes Recommended.
With all of my work, my goal is to reflect the diverse and complex world we live in and empower audiences to make change. If that sounds exciting to you, fill out the form below - I look forward to working with you!
Thank you!
